Between the 6th of January and March 27th of this year, Altona Police responded to three complaints of Stolen Automobiles. The first vehicle, a 1994 Buick Century was parked outside the Owners residence on 7th Avenue NE when it went missing. This vehicle was located 9 days later within 1 block of the Owners residence with the keys inside. The second vehicle, a blue 1995 Safari Van, was stolen from the parking lot of the Victory Church on the 27th day of January. This incident was similar to the first in that the vehicle was located the next day in a Public place with suprisingly, a twenty dollar bill wrapped around the keys. A White 1998 Dodge Stratus was the subject of the third stolen vehicle which took place on the 27th day of March. The vehicle was last seen at approximately 12:30am outside the Victims residence on 6th Street SE. This vehicle was also recovered the next day with similar circumstances as the vehicle appeared to have no noticeable amount of fuel missing.

The Altona Police believe these incidents may be related.
